Indulge yourself in an excursion to the most famous hill stations in Uttarakhand - Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun, and Mussoorie. Haridwar, known as 'The Gateway of the Ganga', is considered one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Hindus, where one can witness the rituals for the famous Ganga aarti on the Ghats and take a holy dip in one of the most sacred ghats of India - 'Har ki Pauri'. On the other hand, Rishikesh 'The Yoga Capital of India', sits gracefully near the foot of the mighty Himalayas opens a doorway to spirituality and adventure. Dehradun, a place nestled beautifully in the Doon Valley in the midst of the Ganga River on the east and the Yamuna River on the west, is known for its beautiful climate and picturesque landscapes. Mussoorie, the Queen of the Hills, sits gloriously at an average height of 6,170 ft. offers pleasant weather, soothing breezes, scented mists, and gorgeous panoramic views of some majestic peaks in the Indian Himalayas.
Day 1: Dehradun – Mussoorie (50 Kms/2 Hours)
Pickup from Dehradun and transfer to Mussoorie; complete the check-in formalities; and settle down. The rest of the day is at leisure. Indulge in the activities that interest you. Located at an altitude of 2005 m above the sea level, Mussoorie receives a decent number of national and international tourists each year. Serene ambiance, a cool breeze, various attractions, and pleasant weather allure tourists from all around. Take a stroll in the nearby locations and explore the surroundings on your own. Overnight stay.
Day 2: Mussoorie
After breakfast on the second day, embark on sightseeing both in and around Mussoorie. The place is a perfect region for long walks and hiking. The Camel’s Back Road is just a camel hump-shaped road where you can go for nature walks. Situated on the hill tracks about 15 km from Mussoorie is the Kempty Falls (take a dip and feel refreshed); observing the whole view the Gun Hills has to offer is simply a breathtaking experience. Also visit Lal Tibba (second highest point here offering mesmerizing views), Happy Valley (Tibetan settlement), Company Garden or Municipal Garden (a lush spot popular for organizing picnics), and Tibetan Buddhist temples etc. You can also enjoy the ropeway ride to Snow View Point. In the evening you return back to the hotel. Stay overnight in Mussoorie.
Day 3: Mussoorie- Dhanulti- Mussoorie (1.25 Hours/ 35 Kms)
In the morning, after breakfast, go for an excursion to Dhanaulti and then enjoy great sightseeing covering Jain Temples, the ECO-Park, Barehipani and Joranda Falls, Dashavatar Temple. Later, return to Mussoorie.
Day 4: Mussoorie - Rishikesh
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and depart for Rishikesh. En route, visit Dehradun Shashtradhara. Upon reaching Rishikesh, visit Ram Jhoola and Laxman Jhoola. Later, check in at the hotel. Evening at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Rishikesh – Haridwar- Rishikesh (01 Hour)
After breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. Upon reaching Haridwar, check in at the hotel. Evening visit Har ki Pauri and Witness Ganges Aarti. Return Haridwar to Rishikesh.
Day 6: Rishikesh – Dehradun
After breakfast check out from the Hotel and dive to Dehradun. Upon reaching Dehradun transfer to railway station/airport.
