Amarnath cave is an important part of Hinduism, surrounded by snowy mountains. The Amarnath cave is covered with snow most of the year except for a short period in summer when it is open for pilgrims. Thousands of Hindu devotees make an annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath cave on challenging mountainous terrain to see an ice stalagmite formed inside the cave. Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter will give you a quick and easy way to visit Amarnath within 3 days.
Day 1: Srinagar - Sonmarg
On the first day of your Amarnath Yatra by helicopter 2022 package, we will provide you with an assisted transfer from Srinagar Airport to Sonmarg, where the warm bed and courteous staff await you at your chosen hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can stroll nearby the resort and explore the enchanting beauty of this place.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Sonmarg.
Day 2: Sonamarg - Baltal - Amarnath Cave - Sonamarg
Wake up to chirping birds and beautiful natural scenery in Sonmarg on the second day of your Amarnath Yatra by helicopter tour package. First, we will arrange for your transfer to Neelgrath in Baltal. Neelgrath is where the helipad is located and where a helicopter will be waiting for you to take you to Amarnath Cave.
Depending upon the weather conditions, the helicopters in Baltal operate between 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This helicopter will take off from Baltal and drop you at Panchtarni. From the Panchtarni helipad, the Amarnath cave is located 6 kilometres further up on the mountain.
The Amarnath Cave is a 2-hour trek from Panchtarni. For those who cannot walk, ponies, as well as palki rides, are available. An aura of spirituality and peace engulfs the Amarnath Cave. Lose yourself in the out-of-the-world serenity of this place. Even though thousands of pilgrims visit the Amarnath Cave every year, your mind will feel unperturbed when you stand in front of the lord.
The beautiful ice Shivling will captivate your mind, and you will feel oneness with Lord Shiva when you bow down your head and chant 'Om Namah Shivay'. Apart from the main attraction, the beautiful ice Shivling, two small lingams in the Amarnath cave represent Maa Parvati and Lord Ganesh.
Once you have finished your Darshan in the Amarnath cave, we head back towards Panchtarni, from where a helicopter will take you back to Neelgrath. From Neelgrath, we will move towards Sonamarg. Overnight stay will be at Sonamarg.
Day 3: Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, we will assist you in a smooth transfer to the Srinagar airport for your onward journey.
Have a sumptuous breakfast on the houseboat in Srinagar, after which we will assist your transfer to the Srinagar Airport for your return journey.
